The City of Irvine is accepting nominations for individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses for the City’s Wall of Recognition. The Wall of Recognition, established in 2006 at Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park, recognizes those who have made significant contributions to the community. Nominations will be accepted November 1–December 30.
The Irvine City Council approved the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) spending at its meeting on October 26. The spending plan for the $56 million allocation aligns with the City’s five strategic priorities: Quality of Life, Natural Environment, Traffic and Mobility, Fiscal Strength, and Organizational Excellence.
Irvine residents are invited to attend a Town Hall Meeting to discuss the proposed Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) plans for construction of a new Performing Arts Complex at Irvine High School.
A proposed construction timeline along with potential impacts will be presented at the meeting. Staff from various City of Irvine departments will be available to answer questions relating to the project.
Heritage Park Community Center is located at 14301 Yale Ave. Learn more at cityofirvine.org/IUSDPerformingArtsComplex
