Irvine Hosts 13th Annual Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Fair

The City of Irvine Animal Care Center hosts its 13th annual Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Fair 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Sunday, December 8. More than 30 pet rescue groups and animal shelters will bring about 500 homeless dogs, cats, rabbits, and small animals for adoption.

No muss, no fuss! It's easy — we provide the gingerbread house decorations and a few fun tips, while you enjoy this sweet, traditional activity with kids. No kitchen cleanup required! Space is limited; register by 5 p.m. Monday, December 9.

Ages 5+; $45. Fee is for parent and one child, and includes project supplies for one gingerbread  house.

City of Irvine Accepting Nominations for its Wall of Recognition

The City of Irvine is accepting nominations for individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses for the City’s Wall of Recognition. The Wall of Recognition, established in 2006 at Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park, recognizes those who have made significant contributions to the community. Nominations will be accepted now through December 30.
