Irvine residents and visitors can take Irvine CONNECT to Laguna Beach by syncing up with Summer Breeze, Laguna's free summer shuttle.
Summer Breeze trolley service operates as detailed below, every 30 minutes, leaving Irvine at :00 and :30 each hour.
Early Service (May 22–June 25)
Friday through Saturday 10 a.m.–10 p.m. | Sunday 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
June 26–July 1
Friday through Sunday 10 a.m.–11:30 p.m.
July 2–September 7
Thursday–Sunday 10 a.m.–11:30 p.m.
Irvine CONNECT shuttle service is approximately every 20 minutes, operating Fridays 6 a.m.–8 p.m. and weekends 8 a.m.–10 p.m. The Irvine CONNECT stops closest to the Summer Breeze trolley stop in Irvine are:
- Westbound Alton far-side of Laguna Canyon Road
- Eastbound Alton far-side Laguna Canyon Road
Irvine CONNECT riders should expect to wait anywhere from 0 to 30 minutes to connect to the Summer Breeze service. Please note that the Summer Breeze stop is about 900 to 1,000 feet from the Irvine CONNECT stops, requiring an approximate 5–8 minute walk between each service.
