The City of Irvine is exploring opportunities to enhance safety, accessibility, and mobility along Yale Avenue north of the I-405 Freeway. Community members are invited to learn about this effort and share feedback at workshops in September and October.
The Yale Avenue Enhancement project evaluates potential improvements to help create safer and more connected travel for people who walk, bike, drive and use other modes of transportation. Potential improvements may include protected or separated bikeways, enhanced pedestrian crossings, traffic control devices, protected intersections, and other features designed to support all users.
The following Community Workshops are planned, offering the community a chance to learn more about the project, review different improvement options, share preferences, ask questions, and provide valuable input.
