The City of Irvine has released its 2026 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Draft (Open in new window) for public review and comment. 

This Plan provides the City with access to Federal Emergency Management Agency grant funding opportunities intended to reduce vulnerabilities to future hazards and disasters. 

The City is asking residents, businesses, and interested stakeholders to take the public comment survey (Open in new window) and submit questions and comments by June 24, 2026.
