The Irvine Animal Care Center is participating in the nationwide Clear the Shelters campaign, sponsored by NBCUniversal and Telemundo, August 1–31, waiving adoption fees for longest-resident pets currently at the center.
Visitors can look for the purple event icon on kennel cards to identify eligible animals. Throughout August, community members are invited to meet animals who have been waiting a little longer for the right match and consider welcoming one into their family.
Hosted each August by NBCUniversal and Telemundo, Clear the Shelters is a nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign that has helped hundreds of thousands of shelter pets find homes since its launch in 2015. By participating in the campaign, the Irvine Animal Care Center joins animal shelters and rescue organizations across the country working to connect more pets with loving families.
Community members can browse adoptable pets and read their biographies by visiting the Irvine Animal Care Center's adoption page at irvineanimals.org/adopt (Open in new window), or stop by the center during August to meet eligible animals in person.
