The City of Irvine has launched a new online portal for business licensing and code enforcement activities.
Beginning today, October 19, businesses and residents can use PRISM, the Public Resource & Integrated System for Land Management, for the following:
- Apply for or renew an Irvine business license online, 24/7.
- Pay business license fees securely.
- Receive automatic email updates on a business license application and a reminder as the renewal deadline approaches.
- Submit a code enforcement concern with photos and details attached, without needing to create an account.
- Look up the status and history of a business license application or a code enforcement case from any device.
Visit prism.cityofirvine.gov (Open in new window) to get started.
In-person assistance continues to be available at the Community Development Assistance Center at City Hall, 1 Civic Center Plaza, Irvine.
For help with a business license, email businesslicense@cityofirvine.org (Open in new window). For inquiries or assistance with code enforcement cases, email codeenforcement@cityofirvine.org (Open in new window).
PRISM is part of the City’s effort to make services more accessible, efficient, and convenient for residents and community partners by providing user-friendly online tools. The platform will be expanded in the future to include planning and building permits, further enhancing the digital services available to the community.
