The City of Irvine invites the community to attend the swearing-in ceremony for Councilmember-elect Betty Martinez Franco Tuesday, May 13, at the Irvine City Hall Council Chamber.

The City of Irvine’s second annual CicloIrvine: An Open Streets Event is Saturday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located along Campus Drive between University Drive and Culver Drive, this celebration will bring the community together to experience Irvine’s public spaces and local businesses in a new and reimagined way with live music, art, and engaging activities for all.

The California Office of the State Fire Marshal has released its 2025 Fire Hazard Severity Zone maps for the state of California, including Irvine. These maps use the latest climate data, fire history, topography, and wildfire modeling to classify areas as Moderate, High, or Very High fire hazard zones.

The City of Irvine is required by law to adopt the map within 120 days after it is released by the State. It is also required to make the map available to the public and collect community input before it is adopted.
