Irvine Police Arrest Two Murder Suspects

IRVINE, Calif. (August 5, 2023) – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) has arrested two suspects in connection with a homicide that occurred on Thursday. 

On August 3, 2023, at 12:37 p.m., IPD officers and the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) responded to the area of Athel Avenue and Sego Street for reports of a male who had been shot multiple times. The victim, Nicholas Alistair Neaimi-Pour, 19, was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Fatal Motorcycle Traffic Collision

Irvine, Calif. (August 3, 2023) – A man has died after being involved in a motorcycle collision. This is the second fatal motorcycle-related collision to happen in Irvine in less than 24 hours.

Today, at 10:23 a.m., the Irvine Police Department (IPD) received reports of a motorcycle collision in the area of Alton Parkway and Jamboree Road. IPD units and the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) responded to the scene.

2023 Clear the Shelters

The Irvine Animal Care Center is participating in Clear the Shelters, a nationwide adoption event hosted locally by NBC4 and Telemundo52. Throughout the month of August, all adoptions will be just $20. Plus, small animals, like rabbits and guinea pigs, will have their adoption fee waived completely.
