The City of Irvine is accepting applications for two vacant board member positions on the Irvine Community Alliance Fund (ICAF) Board. ICAF, comprised of seven board members, is a nonprofit organization created to financially support the programs and services offered through the City of Irvine Community Services Department.

The Irvine Animal Care Center will host its 15th annual Super Pet Adoption event Sunday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s event will require advance registration to better ensure a socially distanced environment for all.

The City of Irvine is excited to announce the reopening of Plaza Neighborhood Park playground after undergoing renovations. Improvements to the neighborhood park include new playground equipment, signage, shade structures, and walkways. Construction began in summer 2020, and the park officially reopened May 20, 2021, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the Irvine City Council.
