City Council Adopts Resolutions Pertaining to COVID-19: Landlords, Evictions and Preventative Measures

At its March 24, 2020 meeting, the Irvine City Council approved a number of resolutions pertaining to the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19. 

City Council Resolution No. 20-28

City Council Resolution No. 20-28 states the following:

The City of Irvine ratifies the proclamation of the existence of a local emergency by the Director of Emergency Services and confirming emergency orders, rules and regulations.

Irvine Community Centers Closed to the Public

IRVINE, Calif. (March 18, 2020): In an effort to ensure the safety of City staff and the public, all Community Centers will be closed, effective Wednesday, March 18 at 5:30 p.m. The closure is the latest emergency measure to go into effect as part of the City’s executive order that was issued on March 17.
