Get ready for an unforgettable summer reading adventure with Irvine Public Library!
From June 13 through July 31, “Your Summer Story Awaits!” Head outside, find your perfect reading spot, and let your inner explorer dive into new and exciting books.
Readers of all ages are invited to join the fun this summer at the library! Choose one of our summer reading programs by age group to earn fun prizes and grand prize raffle tickets. Track your reading online through Beanstack (Open in new window), then visit your local Irvine Public Library branch to pick up prizes along the way. You'll need an active Beanstack account (Open in new window) to participate.
Be sure to select the grand prize raffle you’d like to enter, and remember that all raffle tickets must be submitted by Friday, July 31, to be eligible for the drawing.
You can also earn extra grand prize raffle tickets by taking part in exciting activities and community adventures throughout the summer!
Summer Reading Programs
Time to read and track your baby’s reading journey! For every 2 hours you read together, you’ll earn a visit to the treasure chest plus a grand prize raffle ticket. Keep going and read up to six hours to collect even more raffle tickets and special prizes.
Grand prizes include: Duplo Legos, toy sets, and so much more!
Hit the trail and start tracking your reading minutes! For every three hours you explore books, you’ll earn a trip to the treasure chest and a grand prize raffle ticket. Keep the adventure going and read up to 12 hours to collect even more raffle tickets and exciting prizes along the way.

- Young Teens grand prizes include: gift cards, air pods and so much more!

Chart your own reading adventure this summer! For every book you finish, you’ll earn a grand prize raffle ticket. Read five books to complete the journey and score an Irvine Public Library tote bag! Still eager to explore? Keep logging your reads to earn one raffle ticket for each additional book, up to 10 total.
Grand prizes include: gift cards, a Kindle Fire HD, and so much more!
