The Irvine Fine Arts Center invites the community to the 30th annual Studio Arts Festival, Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Heritage Community Park adjacent to the center. This free outdoor event is an opportunity to discover and purchase unique, handcrafted art from local artists.
The City of Irvine will hold an electric gardening equipment demonstration May 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. on the front lawn of City Hall. The demonstration will be conducted by Dan Mabe, AGZA chief executive officer, a national leader in the transition from gasoline to electric lawn and garden equipment.
