At its meeting on September 8, the Irvine City Council voted to continue the drive-up COVID-19 testing program into October and extended executive orders and resolutions that support and safeguard the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Marianna Marysheva Appointed Interim City Manager

The Irvine City Council voted to appoint Marianna Marysheva as Interim City Manager, effective September 9.  

Marysheva has served as Assistant City Manager since July 2018. An innovative and creative leader with more than two decades of municipal government experience, Marysheva has a track record of implementing programs that promote transparency and open governments; building partnerships and encouraging collaboration; and accomplishing projects with multiple cross-pressures and competing priorities.
