This year's dynamic speaker is Brigadier General Michael Aguilar, USMC, Retired. Born in Los Angeles, California, General Aguilar was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in 1971 and designated a Naval Aviator in 1972. During his 31-year Marine Corps career he held a variety of flying and command billets. His last duty assignment was Deputy Commander Marine Forces South and Commanding General Fleet Marine Forces South.
