The Future of Art: Irvine’s Young Creatives Take the Spotlight
The City of Irvine is turning the spotlight on the next generation of artists with the return of the High School Art Exhibition. On view from Monday, April 7, through Friday, May 23, at Irvine City Hall, this annual showcase celebrates the creativity, skill, and unique perspectives of local high school students. A free opening reception will be held Thursday, April 24, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.

Give Back to Marine Families: Donate Essential Baby Care Items Through May 16
The City of Irvine and the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee are hosting the annual Baby Gift Drive to benefit the adopted 2/11 Marine Battalion. This initiative provides essential supplies, support, and care for Marine families. Donating new and unopened items, such as bounce seats, breast pumps, baby monitors, baby carriers, diapers, and wipes, can help make a difference for parents welcoming a new baby home.

Irvine Police Department to Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint
Irvine, Calif. (April 4, 2025) – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) will conduct a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Driver’s License checkpoint as part of the Department’s continued commitment to reducing injuries and deaths caused by impaired drivers. The checkpoint will be conducted on Saturday, April 12, from 7:00 p.m. to 2 a.m. around Jamboree Road and Michelson Drive.
