Great Park Hosts Third Annual Fiesta Latina en Irvine on September 22

The City of Irvine invites the community to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the third annual Fiesta Latina en Irvine Sunday, September 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Great Park.

This free, family-friendly event will feature an array of exciting activities, including live music, delicious cultural cuisine, captivating art displays, and engaging cultural demonstrations. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the rich history, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic Americans while enjoying a day filled with fun and entertainment.

In partnership with the City of Irvine, Waste Management is hosting a free paper-shredding event.
Irvine residents can safely and securely dispose of up to five banker-size file boxes. The event is first-come, first-served and will end early if truck capacity is reached. Customers who wish to watch their paper be shredded will need to park in a designated area away from the truck and staff.

In support of the exhibition Thank You, Good Night: Concert Photography, the Great Park Gallery presents a unique live music and art making activity. Song Requests and Concert Posters will give participants the opportunity to request songs they love from the '60s to today to be performed live while creating fictional concert posters that represent their favorite artists. 

Live music provided by Spencer Askin, master guitarist and face of social media personality Shreducation. No advance registration is needed for this fun free all-ages event.

Art at City Hall Opening Reception - Luke Matjas: Tales from the Trails
