Visit Quail Hill Community Center and enjoy a guided hike, compost demo, and interactive activities offered by the City of Irvine in partnership with Irvine Ranch Conservancy.

Guided hikes at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. registration required on-site, limited space available. 
Compost demo at noon.

2023 Super Pet Adoption & Fundraiser

Sunday, June 4
10 a.m.–3 p.m.

The Irvine Animal Care Center invites the community to its 17th annual Super Pet Adoption & Fundraiser event. Local pet rescue groups will bring dogs, cats, and birds for adoption. This annual event features vendors and services for pets and their humans that includes gourmet food trucks, a bake sale, and a drawing giveaway.

Tickets will be sold at the door: $5 for adults, free for children. Event parking is free.

City of Irvine Begins Pursuit of District-Based Elections

The City of Irvine is pursuing its first City Council district formation process. All City of Irvine registered voters currently vote for the Mayor and all four City Councilmembers. Upon completion of the districting process, the City of Irvine would have six separate voting districts. Beginning in 2024, each voter would vote for the Mayor and one Councilmember to represent the district they live in.
