Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee President Honored as Distinguished Woman of the Year

California State Assemblyman Matthew Harper recently recognized Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee President Tina Anderson as the 2018 Distinguished Woman of the Year for the 74th Assembly District.

Every March, the State Assembly honors women from across the state for their remarkable contributions to the community in celebration of Women’s History Month. The rarity of this award is perhaps best illustrated by the fact that only 120 women are honored by the California State Legislature each year in a state of nearly 40 million people.
