Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee Holiday Toy Drive - Dec. 4 Drive-Thru Drop-Off

Make the season brighter for Irvine’s adopted Marine Battalion families by donating a new, unwrapped gift suitable for infants or children ages 12 and younger. The Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee will be on-site at the Irvine Civic Center Parking Lot 3 next to Deanna Manning Stadium at Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park. Please follow the event directional signs to the toy drop-off area. Have toys ready in the trunk and/or back seat of your vehicle. Volunteers will assist with retrieving your toy donation.

City of Irvine Receives $2.8 Million to Develop a Universal Playground at Sweet Shade Neighborhood Park

On Tuesday, October 25, Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris presented City of Irvine officials with $2.8 million in state funding to renovate the City’s playground at Sweet Shade Neighborhood Park to a universal playground that will meet the needs of all residents regardless of ability.

Voting Options for the November General Election

Ballots for the November 8 General Election have been mailed and registered voters can cast their vote one of three ways.

At a Vote Center: Voters can bring completed ballots to any Orange County Vote Center regardless of where they are registered in the County. They can also register to vote, request a replacement ballot, get help in multiple languages, and vote with an accessible voting machine at a Vote Center.
