City of Irvine Announces Grand Opening of Free COVID-19 Testing Sites

The City of Irvine in partnership with operator 360 Clinic announces the grand opening of five free COVID-19 testing sites at City facilities. A soft launch of the program began Monday, April 5, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Irvine City Council and 360 Clinic members commemorated the grand opening at Irvine Civic Center Tuesday, April 13.

Community members looking to get testing for COVID-19 are now welcome to take advantage of this free service. Days and hours vary per site:

Irvine Police Arrest Kidnapping Suspect also Suspected of Committing a Hate Crime

Essentials Diaper Drive is May 9-June 11

The City of Irvine is proud to support HomeAid Orange County and invites community members to take part in the Essentials Diaper Drive.

Help families with babies and toddlers experiencing homelessness by donating diapers and wipes May 9-June 11. Donations can be dropped off at two City of Irvine locations:

Ramadan Drive-Thru Food Collection Event

The City of Irvine will host a  Drive-Thru Food Collection event on April 18, 10 a.m.-noon, at Irvine Civic Center. Community members are invited to donate non-perishable food items during this event, which is being hosted in observance of Ramadan. All donations support Families Forward, a nonprofit helping families in need in Orange County.

This is a drop-and-go event; all food items need to be in the trunk of your car and visitors are asked to remain in their vehicles the entire time. Donations most needed include:

While you are staying at home, the City of Irvine is bringing composting tips to you. Learn how to recycle your food and yard waste into garden gold to both nourish your garden and help the environment. The presenter will provide you with tips and resources, plus you will have the chance to ask questions regarding composting.
